cream Quacker decoupage

Hello to all! Today in Grimsby the weather is overcast a very dull day For my latest card i have used cream quackers decoupage from crafters companion. The background paper is from a my craft studio CD. I have used Nellie's corner dies on my first layer of background paper.
As you  will have noticed (as it is very wobbly) my first attempt at machine stitching. The final touch was embellishing with tiny buttons .

crafters companion monthly challenge

I  have entered this in the crafters companion monthly challenge http://ccmonthlychallenge.blogspot.com/

They have asked for a girls card, and I couldn't resist using  the peter  rabbit CD,

and nit wit papers once again!!

The season for weddings

With all the Wedding Anniversary's that I have cards to do for.I have decided to use my Marianne Dies once again with a different uptake on my last card i posted. The papers are from Bobunny

love birds

I love these dies from Marianne designs they are easy to use to make the perfect anniversary or wedding card. I finished the edge of the papers off with a Martha Stewart punch

(doily) peter rabbit

Today I have just finished another peter rabbit card using a different sketch. i have basically used the same materials as before with the addition of a doily

Aperture birthday card

Using this delightful decoupage from Marianne design, I made a aperture card for my daughter-in-law
The papers were from Elines paper pack and once again as before the dies from creatables.
I decided to use  faux stitching to  finish the card . i have decided to enter this in a Marianne design challenge.
The decoupage is so versatile it can be used for any age!

In Memory

Sadly I have had to say goodbye to my beautiful Labrador called bob and I felt the need to say thank you to our vet who has looked after him throughout his 10 years of life. I made this using BO bunny's papers and Mylo decoupage which i thought appropriate of a puppy writing to say thank you.The stitching template was from Erica Fortgens by Avec.

joanna sheen competition

February 2011 “reader’s card/project of the month” is made by Julie
WOW I have become card of the month winner on Joanna sheen's news letter  with this card I made for a special friend. www.joannasheen.com

peter rabbit

A very belated Happy New Year to one and all, Sorry i am a rubbish blogger!!
For this card I decided to use a different approach  compared to my previous cards.
I have used nit wits papers which i have layered,  Along the bottom I have used my Martha Stewart punch.  A satin ribbon was layered along the bottom. The corner  and flower dies are from Marianne design  creatables. The sweet peter rabbit decoupage is from a crafters companion CD.

Faerie poppet

Using faerie poppets decoupage I made this card for my dear niece. I have also used creatables dies for the flowers and a stencil by Erica Fortgens for the embroidery and embossing which i am afraid to say is on the blurry side thanks to my scanner!!!!! Grrr...

what a winter

I couldn't resist sharing this photo with you all He looks so comical  poking his head  up from the 3 foot of snow in my garden

Another one of Elines

cute decoupaged images

for my 2010 Christmas cards.

Not happy with the scanned image

though.Seems to be scanning blurred.

christmas 2010

Same as before, but this time
I have used a free
download background paper, called winter wishes, courtesy of www.papercraftinspirationsmagazine.co.uk

merry christmas 2010

I think these papers and stencils go well with this layout
I have  used a background paper from a joanna  sheen cd, elines snowmen  decoupage, embossed a joy stencil using a light box but
cheated with the spotty embossing using a cuttlebug.

For this Xmas card i used a joy stencil for the bauble
which was matted onto red glitter card. The corner
of the white base cardstock was embossed using a merry Xmas stencil form Marianne. The sweet decoupage  image is from Marianne too!

Tad late Starting- My 1st 2010 Xmas card!

It has took some time deciding how i am going to make my Xmas cards. For my first one i have used a Joy stencil and decoupage by Marianne. The poinsettia was made using a creatables die

football crazy

I could not resist this image from flower soft which  i have decoupaged, I also used a papermania embossing folder with my cuttlebug to complete the layout i have used a punch to create the spots

fathers Birthday

No i haven't gone Nutty!!!  but My Dad Whom  i made this Birthday card for  likes his nuts so I thought it quite appropriate.I have used House of mouse decoupage from Joanna sheen and a stencil i have used before from Marianne.

For my sons Birthday !

For My Sons Birthday I decided to use his company Logo Hence the monkey Which i Decoupaged and matted then for the background i embroidered the scrolls and used a papermania embossing folder with the cuttlebug .I couldn't resist the monkey nuts !!
